Il governo britannico approva i piani di sviluppo per il progetto Edradour / Glenlivet della Total
ABERDEEN: Total confirms that the Department of Energy and Climate Change has approved Field Development Plans (FDPs) for Total’s Edradour/Glenlivet project. The original decision to invest in this project was taken by Total in May 2014. The approval of the FDPs by the UK Government allows Total (80%) and its partner DONG (20%) to continue to develop the project according to the concepts outlined in 2014. The project is expected to add reserves of more than 65 million barrels of oil equivalent.
The FDPs consent to the Edradour and Glenlivet fields being tied back to the Total operated Laggan-Tormore subsea infrastructure. This development, combined with the start-up of Laggan-Tormore, will see the creation of a third operated hub for Total on the UKCS, underlining the strategic importance of the West of Shetland as a core asset for Total.
